One of the most important steps to take toward owning your first home is being empowered to make confident decisions.  Community Building Partnership is proud to offer credit and home-buying counseling to help you on your path.

Our Home Lending & Counseling Program offers free credit counseling to those who aspire to own their own home one day. Together we will take a realistic look at your finances, create a budget, come up with a plan to pay off debts, repair credit, and build a savings.

We also offer assistance for finding home financing to meet your specific needs by linking consumers with our lending partners, such as Huntington Bank, Farmers Bank, and Citizens Bank.

We can help to qualify you for the City of Canton’s Down Payment Assistance program. This program, run by Community Building Partnership, offers qualified applicants up to $5000* toward the down payment and closing costs associated with a first-time home purchase anywhere in the city of Canton!

Since last summer we have helped 13 families to become first-time home buyers by granting over $43,000, with several more families currently in the process of closing!
