What we do....
CBP is a community development corporation dedicated to renewing Canton's neighborhoods through both direct services to neighborhoods as well policy roles as a community development intermediary. CBP employs two strategies:-target neighborhood renewal and policy work to create better community development systems in Canton.
Under its target neighborhood renewal work, CBP offers a unique revitalization approach, entitled "Healthy Neighborhoods", which focuses on resident engagement and reinvestment as the main engine driving the renewal of neighborhoods. In our target healthy neighborhoods, CBP deploys Healthy Neighborhood trainings and techniques to residents to help them understand the importance of their role in investing their TEAM-Time, Effort And, Money in their neighborhoods. CBP strategies include down payment assistance grants, exterior grants, community projects, art projects, neighborhood celebrations, landscaping, energy assessments, and construction co-ops and advice.
