Mission

The mission of CBP is to promote the revitalization of neighborhoods in Stark County. CBP's current focus is on the neighborhoods of City of Canton.

 

Strategy 

We accomplish this mission by leading and directing partnership-based, neighborhood-specific revitalization planning efforts; and by developing needed community development policies, programs, and tools that promote resident and community investment in these neighborhoods.

CBP supports community renewal through programs and services that:

• ​Lead and facilitate community planning processes that engage residents and stakeholders to work in partnership to create and implement targeted, neighborhood renewal plans;

• Provide financial and technical support for programs, projects, and operations to non profit organizations so they can implement these neighborhood revitalization plans; and,

• Provide local policy support and assistance to local governments and foundations that lead to programs and tools promoting effective community development systems for Stark County.
