Aultman Core Asset

The Aultman Hospital neighborhood has been designated as one of six targeted core investment asset areas in the City’s Comprehensive Plan (adopted in 2016). In 2017 Aultman Health Foundation asked Community Building Partnership to be their partner in supporting the neighborhood revitalization efforts of this area. The Aultman Core Asset Area is approximately 300 acres in size and is bounded by W. Tuscarawas St., Harrison Ave. SW, 11th St. SW, and Bellflower Ave. SW.

 

This area is one of CBP's largest focus areas in the City of Canton due to the partnerships and reinvestment orchestrated by one of Canton's largest employers: Aultman Hospital.  The Aultman Area Neighborhood Association (AANA) has been formed and is growing in membership; Live Well Stark County and The United Way have designated two new walking paths; several art installations and other community features are in the planning phase approaching implementation.
