Community Building Partnership of Stark County, Inc. is proud to be a sponsor of the neighborhood renewal efforts taking place in the Summit and NEAR neighborhoods of Canton. CBP has sponsored the work of national neighborhood strategist David Boehlke in Stark County and is focusing its neighborhood efforts in 6 of the 15 neighborhoods Mr. Boehlke recommended in his “Canton Neighborhood Project.” To show our support and commitment, CBP has developed a cooperative program for neighboring homeowners to receive a good discount price by licensed contractors on everyday home maintenance and/or improvement projects.
What is the CBP Co-Op Program?
The goal of the CBP Co-Op Program is to provide tangible home maintenance opportunities to homeowners in order to stop the cycle of disinvestment and instill pride of homeownership through reinvestment. These opportunities are pre-identified common household maintenance and/or improvement projects throughout a neighborhood allowing residents to take advantage of a cost savings through a cooperative agreement with their neighbors and licensed contractors.
